Tip of the Day…Compiling Clippings
We plan in to have a feature that allows the user to compile a scrapbook of Ayat inshah’Allah, so that if you have to write a paper, or a Khutba, all of the sources are in one place. Unfortunetly I don’t have a screenshot of that right now, but the feature will be up shortly insha’Allah.
Tip of the Day…Use the Index
You know what’s great? Instead of having to scroll through a million irrelevant search results, you can go to the index and click the subject you want, and you have your results.
Tip of the Day…Add a Comment
We don’t have the feature up yet, but it is great. As you are reading and understanding the Qur’an, you can add a comment, to let people know and learn from your interpretation of the verse. Because well, aren’t all translations someone else’s interpretations?
Sorry I don’t have a screen shot to put up, but I will as soon as I can.
Tip of the Day…Adding CQ to Search Bar
We’ve added a new feature! Now you you can type a word in the search bar on your browser, and get results from communityquran.com. The best part is that it is so easy to do, and you have to do it only once.
Here’s what you do:
- Go to communityquran.com
- Go to the search bar in the upper right corner of your browser
- Click the drop down menu
- Click “Add Community Quran“
Now you can jump straight to communityquran.com from anywhere, and you’ll already have what you need.

Tip of the Day…Commentary
If you don’t understand the Arabic, that is why we have provided translations and transliteration if you can’t read the Arabic, but sometimes those translations don’t make much sense. That is why Yousif Ali’s commentary is added, so that your understanding may grow.
And it is so easy to find. When you click the the hyper link (Ayat number in blue) next to the transliteration on the search Qur’an page, you come to the translation page. Now just scroll down.
Tip of the Day…Structure
If you are looking for an Ayat in a specific Surah, and it is just so long that you don’t know which Juz to look in, use the structure tab, it says which Ayat of which Surah each Juz starts on.
